Academy of Pediatrics Kanpur launched it’s Breast Feeding campaign on 31st July by organizing a huge PRESS CONFERENCE and thereby intimating media of various awareness programs to be conducted in Breast Feeding Week from 1st August to 7th August.
We we’re everywhere with our mission of breast feeding awareness may it be Slums, Medical colleges, Nursing colleges, Govt n Private hospitals, Clinics n even private institutes.
We planned our activities in such a way that we involved Working mother’s, Antenatal n Postnatal mother’s, Nursing staff and Doctor’s to enhance their awareness regarding breast feeding.
We involved Govt Medical College GSVM as well as Private Medical college RAMA to sensitize around 400 medical students.
We incorporated Gynecology department of various institutes, without their active participation our effort would have been incomplete.
We invited LACTATION CONSULTANT Dr Astha Agarwal to give lectures n training in many of our programs.
Our social activities involving different religions and communities caught the eye of Media n we got desired support from them to create a Mass Awareness about benefits of Breast Feeding.
FM Talk, Banners n Pamphlet distribution helped us complete our Breast Feeding campaign on a positive note.
