The IAP Allahabad branch organized a CME on Pediatric Hematology on 22th of September, Sunday, at Hotel Kanha Shyam, Allahabad. The speakers were Dr Vineeta Gupta from IMS, BHU and Dr. D. K. Singh from SPHPGI, Noida .
Prof Vineeta Gupta MD, DNB, MAMS, FRCPCH, FUICC and Commonwealth fellow BMT is incharge Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi.
Dr. D. K. Singh is Professor and Chief Consultant at Superspeciality Pediatric Hospital and PG teaching Institute, Noida. He has been the Prof & Head of the Department of Pediatrics at MLNMC & associated SN Children Hospital, Allahabad.
Dr Vineeta Gupta spoke on Management of Thalassemia – Pediatrician’s approach while Dr D. K. Singh gave a talk on Acute & Chronic ITP : Diagnosis and Management. It was followed by a vibrant interactive session wherein both the topics were discussed at length.
The CME was attended by a large number of pediatricians of the city and was a great success.
